*A day in the rain*
Finding solutions to otherwise mind scratching situations is something we’ve got rather good at.
Here seb quite incredibly dug out by hand around 60 tons 😲. Built a retaining wall using gabion baskets again all by using up cycled materials he got from the various Facebook market places and then needed a fence to go on top. After an initial visit with Seb Saunders and after the shock of seeing his back breaking work to date we together formed a plan of action.
Using 250mm round drainage pipe seb tied in to the gabion baskets at the centres needed for our fencing system to work, once the baskets were topped up we came in and concreted in proper old fashioned concrete spurs meaning this fence will be an easy job for the next guy in 20 years or so!
Thinking of the next person is something that to us is of great importance and something we appreciate when doing the jobs we do left behind by people from years ago!
Finished with our 6 foot close board Seb is ready for phase 2
