So besides the dozens of Covid-19 emails we’ve been receiving, we also had one to replace a rotten old deck and install our solid charcoal composite 😊👍
With obvious world events taking place our usual courier was unable to get us the product and given its shear weight (1460kg) the composite decking boards we use meant we had some head scratching required as to how to get them back.
Never the less in true absolute form we hatched a plan and embarked on a road trip to get these boards home and installed for Lee and his lovely wife 😊
Penned in with a superb 316 grade marine stainless hand rail infilled with glass this deck now suites the balustrade perfectly.
Underneath is the real deal our composite boards sit on top of a frame most likely strong enough to bear the weight of the impending national debt 🙈 with posts buried deep in concrete and a double joisted system we’ve over engineered this frame safe in the knowledg as and when Lee gets his hot tub the party won’t be cut short 💪

In these difficult and testing times it’s imperative we all keep our heads and hopes high, while trying our best to maintain a normal life in line with government and local authority guidelines, we have taken steps to segregate staff into teams of 2 each in the same vehicle and with the same kit, each vehicle with a decontamination kit and cleaning supplies, all week we’ve worked without a cup of t 🙈 so please don’t be offended if our staff refuse.
We are lucky enough to hold stocks of our product so are not anticipating (with exception to this composite deck 😆) a stock issue.
Our work luckily is about as remote as it gets so long as there is external access we can and have all week worked independently, our payments as usual are normally bank transfer or card payment via our online portal.
So for us at least it’s business as usual, it’s our job to be responsible with hygiene always but now more so than ever which is why I’m taking the steps to include waste disposal of any old fence you may have when we fit a new one.
