So I’ve named this one what I have because that’s as close to what happened here for Scott and Krystal.
The Sunday before we were due to start this one the main sewer pipe (clay) collapsed and caused the garden to flood with raw sewage. Like all things you need to have a plan b and upon arriving on the Monday morning it was clear the complexities of this job just got a little harder…
Never the less we brought in the digger and excavated the entire garden in such a tight space this was a real challenge. Luckily our customer Scott is very hands on so after removing the old clay for Scott he sourced the bits and bobs and installed a new plastic sewer pipe. Once back the grab lorry got to work removing the dig out and we got to work putting in our type 1 hard core for the sub base.
Finally getting back on track Ethan started (and finished) the slabs with help from our new guy Harold.
Just to add something to the garden a floating pergola of my own design was made from scratch and hung on the wall.
I’m sure you will agree this is now a peaceful sanctuary of a space which is perfect for a bbq or just to read a book.
